Psychological Support
Professional counseling and mental health support for individuals navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, and emotional breakdown. No one should face their darkest seasons alone.
Nsukka, Nigeria • Restoring Lives Through Love
Psychological support. Spiritual care. Business mentoring. Legal aid.
Real people. Real transformation.
“Omikochukwu” is a divine mandate — a name that declares: love must be seen, felt, and experienced. We exist to make that love tangible for the most vulnerable among us.
We are a Nigerian foundation grounded in faith, built on compassion, and committed to the holistic restoration of human dignity — especially for widows, struggling families, and those who have lost their way emotionally, spiritually, or economically.
We do not hand out charity and walk away. We walk alongside people — through grief, through rebuilding, through growth — until they can stand on their own.
“We do not just give people things. We give them back themselves — their dignity, their hope, their future.”
Six areas of service, each designed to address a real dimension of human need — because people are whole, and healing must be whole.
Professional counseling and mental health support for individuals navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, and emotional breakdown. No one should face their darkest seasons alone.
Rooted in Catholic faith and Christian values, we offer spiritual direction, prayer support, and formation that restores the inner person. The soul needs tending as much as the body.
We mentor widows in business fundamentals, guide start-ups, and provide grants to seed sustainable enterprises. Over 40 widows are already running businesses they own.
Many widows face inheritance disputes and property violations they cannot navigate alone. We connect them with legal counsel and advocate alongside them through every step.
In seasons of acute need, we provide food and welfare relief to families in crisis — because no family should be choosing between eating and surviving.
Through Mental Empowerment Sessions and group workshops, we equip people with the mindset, skills, and community they need to step into a stronger, clearer new chapter.
These are not projections. These are results — lives already touched, businesses already running, families already breathing easier.
40+
Direct business support granted to more than 40 widows. Many are now thriving entrepreneurs, sustaining their families through enterprises they own and lead.
₦4M+
Over four million naira deployed in grants, start-up funding, food relief, and direct welfare — reaching families at their most critical points of need.
Dozens
Two Mental Empowerment Summits and numerous individual counseling and consulting sessions have helped people rebuild confidence, process grief, and step forward.
These are the stories behind our mission — real people, real encounters with love, real breakthroughs. Every testimony is a life touched by what your generosity makes possible.

“The counseling I received helped me process what I was going through. I had nowhere to turn. The foundation gave me a safe space, patient ears, and eventually a new direction.”

Dr. Mgbenka is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka — but what drives her most is not her academic title. It is her deep conviction that love, when organized, can change communities.
A respected leader in the Ladies of St. Mulumba and the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, she founded the Omikochukwu Love Foundation to bring dignity and practical support to the most vulnerable — especially widows and struggling families across Nsukka and beyond.
Director of Spiritual Formation
CCRN Coordinator, St. Peter’s Chaplaincy, UNNDirector of Operational Excellence

Founder, CPTSD — Transformation HubWhen you give to the Omikochukwu Love Foundation, you are not donating to an institution. You are handing a widow her first start-up capital. You are funding the counseling session that turns someone’s life around. You are providing the meal that keeps a family together.
We hold that trust with reverence — and we will always prove it with results.
Join the growing community of people who believe that love, when organized, changes the world.
